Welcome to 4 Rochester:
So what's this site about? We are hoping to create a new and interactive portal site, regarding Rochester, New York related topics. This site will only be as successful as the number of people that are willing to contribute and participate in it. We hope that there will be various areas of interest that will keep people coming back and contributing their ideas. The site will contain a web forum, content via rss feeds, blogs, news, static pages with Rochester content, links to Rochester sites, photo galleries, calendar system for posting events, and more. Not everything that will be here is currently functioning, as this will be an ongoing process. The web forums are currently setup however, so feel free to drop in and start some conversation. Anyone can read posts however we do require that people register before they can post. We do this in an attempt to cut down on the boards being spammed. We hate spam as much as you do. Your email address though is safe with us. We will never sell it or give it away to any spammers.
Trying out and becoming familiar with the various menus is the best way to familiarize yourself with the site. Here's a few direct links though to some of the available content. As already mentioned we have some online forums. You will also find some listings of people with ties to the Rochester area.
